Anyone going to Erotica?

Lots of people have been asking me to sign posters & dvd covers for them but I've never been able to do it as I'd have to give strangers my postal address!
Anyone wanting something signed or have a pic taken can come along to Manchester Erotica as I'll be there on the 2nd & 3rd. Upto now I'm not working this year so I'm free to walk around & get drunk!
Hope to see you all,
Michelle B xxx

Signing stuff has nothing to do with your postal adress.
I like the wandering around getting drunk bit though -that's what exhibitions are for.

So how would someone send a poster to me for me to sign?

You did not say anything about mailing.
However,
(a) use a post box addy
(b) Post from a nearby box (different code)

Guys - a PO box is NOT safe, anyone can simply call the Royal Mail call centre and they are legally obliged to give the owners postal address

i think she's asking about keeping her private address PRIVATE!
if you have an agent, get stuff sent / vetted there..
or use a 'mail boxes etc' or similar mailing address, that you could get someone else (?) to pick up from, for added security. some office supply / secretarial shops may offer this dropbox service..
btw, didnt know the royal mail were ALLOWED to give out P.O. destination addresses, without permission- wouldnt this be a breach of the data protection act, for starters>
U have worked for large firms before- nothing sinister about a PO box number- probably just easier to rememberm and get mail pre sorted for each department by the RM, rather than waste time inhouse...

There is no such thing as being too picky when it comes to someones safety - you suggested using a post box so I pointed out the pitfalls associated with that. No need to throw your toys out of your pram!

Its a common misconception that RM PO Boxes are private and anonymous - from Royal Mail website:
Disclosure of information
We reserve the right in all cases to give the address of the PO Box holder, should it be requested.
The PO Box address (and title) will be added to our national address database, the Postcode Address File (PAF). Information on PAF is used to produce a number of address management products available to the public. It is also reproduced in free postal address books, which we provide to all organisations listed on the file. Find out more about PAF data and Postal address books.
Sensitive boxes
If you need your address to be fully private (for example, if you run a women?s refuge centre, a rape crisis centre or if you?re a member of the security forces), you?ll need to write to us explaining why, along with a letter of endorsement from the police or a similar body. For more information please contact 08457 950 950.
