For those 80s officionados (spelling?) amongst you it's worth keeping your eyes on alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.spanking. Can't say the whole spanking thing does anything for me. It has a place in my memory as one of the few things that were legal in this country (?) in the 80s that was a bit off centre and surely has a place in uk adult entertainment history. Any of you old timers got any interesting stories of where this fitted into the history of the 80s scene. Was it something that appealed to those who couldn't get their hands on hardcore? Can I firstly apologise for posting two replies to my own post but I have just spent some time looking through alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.spanking and I was struck (shocked?) by the difference between the old "you naughty schoolgirl... I'll tan yer backside" kind of stuff from the eighties and the scary BDSM stuff from present day. Crikey things have changed from the role play of the eighties to the domination and humiliation of females in the newer stuff. Noticed a few rape and domination themes to other posts and it didn't agree with me. Isn't it funny how the St Trinians theme of the old stuff contrasts so scarily with the modern interpretation.

Anyway I'll go away and let someone else talk for a bit now.
