While I was away in South Africa I started making my own series of videos. I would like to distribute these videos. Where can I get more info on companies that buy the rights for videos and how do I go about getting the content approved by the publications board in the UK ?? These videos are really wild and have lots of girls in that are doing video work for the first time ever!!!

this is the bbfc page which gives you the info needed to make a submission for certification:

You have two safe choices:
1 Get the videos certificated by the BBFC (cost: ?600 per hour)and sell through licensed sex shops, who will take a large cut and possibly not sell very many, unless you spend your own time and money promoting them.
2 Sell through a distributor like Your Choice (see links), who will also take a large cut, but won't require certification and might sell as many or more (if the content is as good as you say)
Your unsafe choice is to sell them yourself, mail order, without certification. Nobody officially gets a cut, but you might get prosecuted. Some very successful operators do this, such as Fiona Cooper. Whether there is an unofficial cut to the local constabulary I wouldn't know.
Best wishes

Cool TM, before all the usual bunch fill her full of c..p.
Its ?700 per hour, your choice buy rights not units, she will get procecuted easy bang to rights etc etc.
My advise start of thinking strait, either sell the rights, or do a deal with the rights etc you never mentioned if it was edited or had covers, but in any case I am sure TM will keep you right.
Only listen to a reputable company who have units on the ground etc don't get involved in any start-ups as they are doomed to failure. This is a very small pond with some very big fish who unfortunaly own all the means of selling you product.

And they want to keep it that way! Hence the advice to go with the cosy little cartel. God forbid there should ever be any competition.

I would suggest you employ Aaron to guide you through the maze he seems to know load about the industry well except for the BBFC fees, who distributes, how they distribute and a few other hundred points you might need to know, like staying out of nick. Still I remmeber doing my last sentence the guy in cell next door recond he would have got me off,

I would have, too, if you'd slept closer to the bars.

Sounds great Phil. Unfortunately I am not rich enough to go to Ford. HMP Durham is not much fun. Perhaps if I ever get as rich as your mate Ben they will reserve me a nice en-suite room in Ford.
