i have signed up for playboy tv online where i can access video streams of various shows , what i was wondering if there was anyway of capturing the footage to view at a later date or is this stuff as strong as it is on satelite tv ?

I've got Playboy TV Portugal on satellite and that's hardcore all but the cum shots ... very strange. I guess the internet service will be similar as they seem to think showing jiz is too downmarket.

I use two bits of software, Videolan for recording satellite streams, but I think it can be used for net originated streams as well ... I mainly use Videolan for playback only.

The one I prefer for recording is Ngrab server ... you just tell it the port to listen on and it will record with no problems. It's in German, but doesn't take much figuiring out - it records an hour in mpeg format using about 1GB, so you can put 4 hours of movie to one dvd.

I usually record using Ngrab through a lan cable and then play back with VLan directly to the TV as playing them back through the lan ties up the satellite box.

But if you read my post you'll see I'm watching the one in the TV Cabo package, originating from Portugal - and OFCOM has no control over their output. Also in the same package in Venus ... Venus show full hardcore, Playboy do not for the very reason I stated, it is against their policy. Under Portuguese law Playboy could show as hard as they wished, but they don't as they don't want that image. Playboy UK operate in chains, don't assume others do - there are also Playboy offerings in packages from Scandinavia and Poland.

I have just gone ahead and used the trial for PBTV Online. It's very good I'm finding it a bit hard to navigate the "VOD" sections of the site though. No matter what you type in, you still get the same results! does that mean there aren't many vids to choose from? Or am I doing something wrong?

We are currently redesigning the VOD search, as after some user testing, we agree, it could be made a lot easier to use.

There are over 800 hours of VOD!

When you're logged in, if you go: Members/Adult Channel Hot you should find a lot more progamming than you may get via the search.

Or you can watch the 4 streaming channels (which are the uncut versions of the TV channels)
