agreed, but the people who currently produce porn have nowhere else to go - the bizarre and the grotesque is merely the logical extension of their own impoverished imaginings.

one thing's for sure, they couldn't construct an erotic narrative to save their gonads. even if someone dropped a world class script in their laps, they wouldn't know how to direct it. anyway, it would cost them more in time and production than they'd ever countenance.

there is one consolation though: eventually, the market for circus act sex will burn itself out and it's makers will have nowhere left to stick their endoscopes except up their own sad arses.
