Looking through the directory there are thousands of films but not many reviews. Who reviews these films - surely most of these films have been viewed by quite a few people. Whoever does the reviews - please do some more. DVD's are expensive and without a review I for one am loathe to shell out cash for what could be a crap film. I don't go to the ordinary cinema without reading reviews! Reviews also give the makers feedback - good reviews can only help sales.

The bgafd is run by enthusiastic folk who do us all a great favour by putting in lots of hard work. I suspect some even have proper jobs in their spare time! !bow!
Everyone's a volunteer.
We all look forward to seeing YOUR first review Big Mick.

Anybody can post a review. I started with films in my collection which I thought were good and wanted to spread the word. Since then I get sent a fair few titles every month for an objective opinion, which I give and post. Now, 3 years later I've got over 300 reviews posted.
A decent review takes a minimum couple of hours to do, you've got to give a 2 hr film a careful watch then an hour or so to write something that others will be bothered to read. Check out the new films list on the updates section to see that there's not enough hours in the month to cover all films, which is why anybody with a bit of spare time can supply a description.
