As far as I know you will also need to add a second LNB to your sky dish to pickup Hotbird at 13' and add a seperate decoder.

dont buy a card that promises loads of channels or smart decoding cards they dont work just look in the sattelite mags

If you still have your old sky analogue dish you can get h/c providing you buy a (non-sky digital receiver. I have a card that gets me hundreds of chanells. As well as hardcore you also get movies, premier league footy, boxing and all the usual stuff like MTv, Discovery, Sky News and so on. Its aimed at Europe but 90% in English. It costs me ?10 to have my local satellite shop update my card once a month but many people do it themselves from the internet. There is so much porn on it is impossible to see it all so I concentrate on a few chanells which show some Ben Dover, Rocco and various kinky foreign films. My advice is go for a plain gold-wafer card (approx ?10) rather than any expensive so-called auto updating cards.

Is the DISH tv package in the USA on C-Band? If it is then the answer is yes cards do exist. Federal agents recently raided people who were dealing in them. The authorities in the UK turn a blind eye to pirate cards but large american TV companies obviously have more of an influence over the law enforcement agencies than thier british counterparts.
