I think gapers, a2ms etc etc are frowned upon by the residents here. It's considered bad taste, as per recent discussion on the topic. Apparently, the average UK punter just wants vanilla porn, BJ, vag, facial, a bit of a giggle. Everyone goes home happy knowing they haven't see any obscene material that's likely to offend. :-/

Assholefever.com and asstraffic.com have great content btw, not British(obviously) but it's worth seeing if you haven't already.

I personally think the attitude expressed above is just another reason why UK porn 'in general' is way behind the times....and hardly surprising that people moan the industry isn't exactly booming.

Don't forget that the forumite being quoted isn't just a punter but a producer. Most of the arguments he presents for a particular kind of porn aren't just his taste but the type of product he's indirectly pushing.

Actually i,m not a producer per say i am about to start but havent got anything in particular lined up so bad call there, which product have you seen me push on any forum more than any other i simply subscribe to a lot of british sites NONE of which feature what this topic is about!!!

As for the topic of this post the reason i asked is because i see TONS of british girls who have done the US thing,gone there and done the gapers and lots of a2m,anal etc but why dont they do it here in there own back yard?? is it the producers who dont want to shoot it or the models who dont want to do it?? seems strange to me

I've posted comments in the past that have expressed my views on the sorry state of Brit porn.

And isn't looking good...

The bottom line is we should be up there with the top U.S. and European producers knocking out high-quality, world-class porn - but for the most part that luddite, backwards-looking mentality still pervades the British Industry.

The truth of the matter is that Brit producers shouldn't just be thinking of the home market - there's a BIG industry out there and we should be at the forefront of it.

Sadly there are very few market leaders on the Brit front - save maybe companies like Relish and Harmony.

Though Harmony's stuff is looking less and less British using, as they do, a mixture of Brit, Euro and U.S. performers in their productions - but at least they have major U.S. distribution, with Evil Angel no less.

I find it ironic that British performers are world-class, but British producers (for the most part) are third-class.

Just look at some of the Brit girls who are currently 'big' - Alicia Rhodes, Poppy Morgan, Holly Wellin, Sophie Dee etc. are all at the top of their game right now - yet their best work undoubtedly has been in the U.S.

It's a damning indictment of how Brit producers have failed to showcase the talent of these perfomers to their maximum potential

I suspect the same will be become true of knockout 'newer' performers like Natalie Heck and Elle Brook etc, who I'm utterly certain, sooner or later, will be snapped up by the Americans...

Just for the record, I'm NOT a producer (ex-tv cameraman, actually!), just a mere punter!

And for the record, 'gapers, creampies etc.' are not my cup of tea - but if thats what the bigger (ie: world) market wants, then thats we should be giving them!
