He makes a very good point, but it's one which has been made a thousand times on here already. Will the industry ever get together and do something about it? I very much doubt it....maybe someone should set up some sort of adult industry trade association to lobby for changes? Rather than the adult industry trade association we have that recommended AGAINST hardcore on TV.
Perhaps someone from AITA would like to comment? I very much doubt it, but it doesn't hurt to ask, eh?
I see I wasn't the only person to notice Dr. Screw's special effects are very well done either...as I said in my previous post, from what I saw in the trailer, it looked a lot more convincing than the Beeb's efforts in that department.

It will never happen whilst there is still a market for 'boobcore' and 'softcore', which is why you should all stop believing the marketing crap and stop subscribing. And don't forget the continued 'secret deal' between the broadcasters and ofcon which maintains this bullshit.
Of course someone will come along and say it costs money to make a legal challenge blah blah blah (this from an industry that makes ?200 million pa - source the Financial Times, April 2004 and seems to be ever increasingly owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation)

I'm on the AITA committee, and I'm opposed to censorship on principle.
Note though that AITA doesn't exist to campaign for sexual freedom, it exists to represent businesses in the adult industry and what it feels are their best interests. There was a divide within AITA over opposing hardcore on TV...
If you disagree with AITA's stance, then join and make a difference rather than moan from the sidelines. The industry needs a strong body to represent it, and the more people who get involved, the more representative it will be.
FYI I'm also involved with the Sexual Freedom Coalition, which DOES exist to campaign against censorship. Both bodies play a useful role, but they exist for different reasons: get involved with both!

I am a member, problem is most members are shop owners so thats where it goes pear shape. Our IPTV solution is the only way Porn will be on TV in the forseeable future mainly because it is legal so therfore is worth investing in. We will have some very big announcments to make this week, mainly new channels sign-ups and delivery dates on the first consumer boxes which for the UK will have DVB freeview in them.
I fought the ITC and OFJOB are no different, best way to beet them is to take the control or licensing outside their jurisdiction.
I believe all producers should get the chance to go direct to the publics TV and with my solution they can even live,
