Adult Stars and Their Families

I work for the Development Team of Shine Television, one of the UK?s largest television production companies.
We are currently developing a show about adult entertainers in the UK for Channel 4 and I am posting this to see whether there is anyone out there who may be interested in taking part in this.
The programme will be looking, for the first time, at the relationship that people who work in the hardcore porn industry have with their family. We are interested in meeting adult entertainers who are completely open with the members of their family about what they do for a living. We would also like to speak to members of their family to see how they feel about their son/daughter, mother/father, etc does for a living?
We are looking for entertaining characters who would make for compelling television. People who are completely at ease with what they do and can talk intelligently about their career choice.
For the programme we will be following a cross section of adult entertainers men/women, gay/straight and documenting the relationship that they enjoy with their families. Also, ideally we would like to find an entertainer who is not ?out? to their families about what they do and follow the moment when they have chosen to disclose all to their family members.
The aim of the programme is to humanise adult entertainers? to show that they are not just bodies, but have personalities and family lives just like everyone else. We also want to show that working in the porn industry is a perfect legitimate career choice and hope to dispel some of its negative associations.
We understand this is a sensitive area and our team has a long track record of making programmes about such subjects that are respectful and informative.
