Getting Forum Back on track

The Forum currently seems to be full of people either posting crap or bangin' on about how it used to be in 'the old days'. Well. The best way to get back on track is to post some serious topics which interest us all (or the people here for what it is meant to be) that being .... discussion about Uk filth old and new.
I've tried it recently with a few new topics but no sooner is the post up than someone starts a handbag fight and everyone piles in leaving a 35 message thread from which we learn nothin' and the stuff with any potential gets ignored. Subjective I know but I think those posting stuff of any worth (still subjective I know) understand what I mean.
We can't stop the posts as this goes against the principle of the damn thing but put more effort into the stuff that IS on topic, interesting and stimulates some grey matter and more importantly, ignore the bun fights and they will fizzle out.
Feel better now.
