Can anyone explain the origin of MILF?
I know what the letters stand for but why "Mothers"?
Its pretty meaningless when it seems to be applied to almost any girl irrespective of her age or status as a parent.
I saw someone on a webcam ask the girl whether she was a MILF. I think she was as puzzled as me. Was the guy asking her if she was a mother or what?

I seem to recall it comes from the US and is based on teenage boys fantasising about their friends' mothers.

I can be absolutely sure that I heard it from an American Pie movie where the young nerdy Stifler had an infatuation for his friends Mum,and eventually got off with her too. Mind you she was hot and somehow the terminology stuck. It seems such an apt description for something that never had a term before.

Moms Id Like to Fuck may have originated elsewhere but I think it will be best remembered for American Pie.
