VCA is graciously releasing Omar's collection over here. The quality is a tad disappointing. They have to invest some in the equipment they're using. I hope they go to DV as they grow. The stuff that has arrived is three years old.

I find the editing and camera work rather bad. Omar will never be able to compete with the great Buttman or our very own Uncle Ben until he thinks from the viewers point of view and captures some decent shots and angles.

I know the camera blokes from Omar's stuff (Ernie and co), and he does use dv. Just not very well, apparently. Looks okay on the Your Choice releases, though.

What marketing title are VCA using for the Omar series in the US?

Big Omar's British Adventures or some such - some of these are cross referenced here and a couple more will be next update, though I've shortened the title a bit.
For example




I think there is already an American series called Big Willy; so they would have ahd to change the British titles for the States. A search for Big Omar in the title on jaded should bring them up.

I thought Mr North was a big spunker! Omar all the way to the states? Amazing!
