Anyone ordered from Excalibur films in the US? Do they turn up OK? They seem to be pretty cheap but appearances can be deceptive
Cheers

Please don`t use the header "Help" it gives no clue as to the nature of your post. Why not head your post "excalibur".

I know a bloke who uses them and he says they are reliable.

Excalibur/any US firm: I'd use them like a shot but I only do VHS and they only do NTSC: I know this makes me sound Stone-Age, but can I play NTSC vids on PAL equipment? Or can I get NTSC hardware in the UK?

New TVs and VCRs play NTSC automatically. Slightly older VCRS you may have to read the manual and fiddle a bit. Even older ones wouldn't. Don't ask me to be specific though, apart from saying my TV dates back to about 98 (Toshiba) and my VCR is a couple of years old (Panasonic) - they cope automatically. With my old VCR (approx 1995, Toshiba) you can reset it for NTSC. If you dig out your manuals they'll probably tell you.

I got two DVDs from Excalibur today ordered on the 7th...i had to pay ?6.96 in duty.

They generalyl turn up much quicker when customs keep their noses out

Thats because the customs have taken them home for a few days to watch them.

I've used Excalibur about 10 times this year, and they are reliable, apart from occasional probs with their website.

I've also used Gamelink (just once so far), which was also OK, but more expensive than Excalibur.

Even Vidshop can't cope with Excalibur's range! It's massive. Still, doesn't stock 'Psycho Sexx' with *that* Jordan Lee and Caressa Savage scene in though - that's like my Holy Grail!
