i think its as straight forward as copying pal to pal, as long as the playing machine can play ntsc tapes and send a pal signal the second machine should record the pal signal- i think?

why not? if the machine is a pal machine and is capable of playing ntsc tapes that can be seen on pal tv's,then the signal being received by the pal tv must be a pal signal. so if you send this pal signal into a pal vcr it will copy it on to a pal tape. actualy now i think about it that seems very easy ,which leads me to belive it cant be true.it all seems to make sense ,but if it was that easy i'm sure it'd be comon knowledge. thats pissed me off now. it should fuckin work and if it doesnt then how the fuck does a tv show ntsc tapes if the tv is not able to show raw ntsc? now my head hurts!
