I've been brooding about this.

Chanta says that Tia was "ripped off and messed about by most people she worked for/with".

There's a disturbing aspect to this: I haven't come across Tia anywhere other than in material from the Adult Channel and John Mason. Are we to undestand that these high profile people were responsible for Tia's mistreatment? If so, I think it's up to us as customers to let them know that this sort of thing is out of order.

If not, how about a 'name and shame' policy here? So far as I know, the girls have nothing like a trade union or similar organisation to protect them and therefore the only people with any power to support them are us lot, the customers. We can vote with our wallets and boycott the offenders, but only if we know who they are.

Obviously the girls might find things getting nasty if they come on to the forum themselves and name names (incidentally, why do we hear from so few, with Chanta, Wendy and one or two others doing all the work?) but there seem to be many other people active in the industry who contribute regularly who could maybe devise some method of letting us know who are the straight players and who are the cowboys. We have league tables for schools, hospitals and who knows what else these days, why not for porn?

Perhaps if we stopped buying their products these lowlifes would quit the business and crawl back under whatever stone they came out from.

All the girls featured on this site go in front of the camera and suck and fuck for our entertainment. The very least we can do is support their right to decent treatment that any human being is entitled to.

Note for Chanta: If you know Tia personally, can she not be persuaded that there's enough regard and affection for her out here (I'm sure I can't be alone in this) to make it worth her while to learn from her experience and persevere for a bit longer? It would be a shame to lose such a lovely lady.

Sorry if that was abit of a rant, but I get upset at any story of the girls being pissed about and when it's one of my all time favourites I start to get really angry

who is in the club buisness ,so she is now running a club and doing promotions which leaves her little time for modeling
as far as being ripped off i cant comment on that but tia has worked for us on many ocasions and has always been shrued ,
i think you would have to get up early to pull one over on her
....tia's reasons for leaving are genuine and not a reflection on all producers ,altough there are sharks in all walks of life

As someone who's worked with Tia on a couple of occasions (her last shoot was a flashing job on the Essex coast!), I can safely say that John Mason has *never* ripped her off, and I hope that this isn't what villa was insinuating in his posting.
I heard from John that Tia was giving up modelling for the same reasons Cathy has given: new bloke, new direction.
She gave up hard-core quite a while ago, and I'll be sorry to see her go. Chatting to her the last time we met, the only thing she was bitter about was the fact that many snappers didn't like her because of her tits. That's one of the reasons I love her! Oh, and that arse.
The danger of a name and shame section on BGAFD is litigation. People love to spread lies and rumours (particularly from a web-based email account where they can't be caught), which is why we all have to be careful what we say.
The only way to get the answer is to ask Tia to post something herself!

I wouldn't agree with a name and shame policy here, too many lies, misunderstandings, etc. I suppose the only way I would agree with this was if it came from the horses mouth as it were.
Tia has many reasons for quitting, what Cathy and David write is correct and obviously played a part in her decision but I guarantee you that she wasn't treated fairly by certain people. I think she has always been self conscious about her boobs, I have always loved her figure and she is easily one of the my favourite choices for girl/girl work. I'm personally upset by her choice as we were talking about her coming to the US with me to make some decent money...they would love her there, especially in the bondage world. All of that said I honestly believe that Tia's mind is made up and she does seem a lot happier to be out of the industry now. I will see Tia next Tuesday and will pass on what you have all been saying but I really don't expect her to change her mind.

I think the other comments about litigation and libel are quite valid. I know who I wouldn't work with/for again and would give any other models my opinions and advice in private. To do it in a forum like this would not be wise not least because I'd probably receive some very nasty treatment in return.

As usual there are two sides to this. Yes there are some very dodgy producers out there who treat the girls badly and do indeed rip them off. On the other hand there are some models out there who never turn up on time (if at all!), are not what they've led others to believe and just go through the motions when on set.

Actually, I think it's quite easy to tell who the good models and producers are - just look at the product - if it's good it usually means it's a good producer with happy models.

I think the good producers have grasped one basic fact. That is if they are professional and above all treat the girls with respect they'll get a good product. Some just haven't realised that without the girls they wouldn't be making any porn!

Why don't more of the models post here? Well of course they may not know the forum exists (I certainly tell all those I know about this site). Some are just not interested. Others I know are put off by some of the comments they receive or have seen others get. I've been insulted on this forum as have Rebekah, Layla and most of the rest. I still watch the forum and post here because I like most of the debate and hope people enjoy my contributions.
