Is this kosher? I got a bit singed a while back with this sort of thing and would like some advance info before parting with my hard-earned.

Adult Check was ok when it first started a few years ago, now its a complete rip-off. If you sign up for the basic Adult-Check you'll find that all you can access are crap web-pages full of jpegs already available for free on the net anyway, anything worth checking out is only available after you sign up for Adult-Check-Gold.
Bottom line, I wouldnt waste youre money, youre better off subscribing to a decent pay-site.

PS: 3rd e-mail to Vidshop today: they're really beginning to try my patience....

We have been told the following by vidshop -

Couldn't agree more! Complete waste of money. Actually, the same seems to go for any of the AVS schemes.

These people ripped me off royally a year or so back making reasonably small charges to my card (for a premium service I hadn't ordered) that they clearly hoped I wouldn't notice. And I didn't for about ten months, but which time I was about ?75 down.

The entry on the credit card wasn't in either of the main names and didn't come up in searches - I found them almost by accident, told them what had happened and they graciously refunded the current month - still leaving me ?68 out of pocket. They then refused to answer any further e-mails. Since they are in America there is sweet FA I can do about it - other than tell all of you.

Since I still have the basic Age Check/Cyberage ID, I go into some of their approved sites from time to time. They are just not worth it. Joining a decent paysite, like Scoreland, or getting into Yahoo Clubs and alt.fan.tvx on newsgroups is a much better idea.

Re Adult Check - it's the only one worth having, but I hardly use it now as I get most things from Clubs, the newsgroup or Scoreland (or free links from this fine board). Personally I think the day of all these adult verification services has all but passed.

Geez never realised that people still actually payed for adultcheck, plenty of passdump sites with freebies nowadays, also plenty of sites that provide brute forcers to get your own Adultchecks (last longer if you dont pass on)

Goldeneye, Accessdiver, Jack the ripper all do adultcheck

You are quite right and we do delete any posts which mention backdoors to paysites and requests for the same when we see them. Since this post escaped our attention because it had gone way onto the second page with threads collapsed, I doubt if many more people would have seen it either.

However, please don't tell us how to run the site when you have the courtesy neither to give an e-mail address nor to refrain from shouting.
