Well, Joanie ruined it all at the end: typical intellectual, what they can't understand or empathise with, they sneer at. Ben tried to explain the bleeding obvious to her, but she still couldn't/wouldn't get it.

please! enough with the nazi comparisons.
i think joan half bake(d)well was the most excruciating thing about this programme, closely followed by the 2 geeks from the bbfc, with 3rd place being taken by the 'context is everything' twathead from the bbc.
how the middle classes love these of exercises in hypocrisy - it's how they get their jollies off! unfortunately, it gets in the way of our own simpler tastes, which tend to involve naked people inserting bits of themselves into each other!
btw, was it my imagination, or did i see a huge close up of a cock being licked, at one point?

RE Goebbels/Straw, I was making the point that all totalitarian systems begin in a crackdown on Law & Order. It may seem a ludicrous comparison at first, but it's the thin end of the wedge: for instance, we gave up the right to public protest under Thatcher, with nary a squeak from the Civil Libs. brigade.
