Maybe this contradicts the interview Robin Duval(BBFC Director) gave to the Sight and Sound magazine. It(the 4second cut) seems to suggest that the courts haven't prosecuted fist fucking. The interview (page 31, 3rd column) 'But time does pass, and if we look at a film now and we're clear that we would not ourselves have a problem with it if it didn't have an OPA(obscene publications Act) record, and if we also discover that no jury has found it obscene for, say, 10 years or more, then that's the point a which we can move towards a more liberal position, although very cautiously and carefully because we don't want to put a challenge to the law.'

"Slowly" thats the key word. When do the bbfc ever challenge the advice of the police by asking how long it is since a particular work or act was convicted under the OPA? They are relying on ancient court cases.
