I wonder what it would take to convince some ex-pornstars to go back into the business. It seems that many only retired because the offers of work dried up and not because they didn't fancy doing it anymore. It is also easy money relative to doing a day job (one shag scene might pay the same as they would earn working for a week in a normal position). Therefore I am sure that if offers of work were to re-materialise some girls would go back.
Also it doesn't matter, it seems to me, if you are a bit older than the standard porn girl - being in your late-20's rather than early-20's I am sure won't matter as the fans are of all ages. So if anyone knows of any ex-stars who only reluctantly quit because the offers stopped, then maybe someone could make one of them an offer and she may return! I doubt she is getting the things she previously got out of porn in her private life now she's quit (exhibitionism, quite a lot of cash for a couple of hours work, etc) so that would be there for her on her return.
I noted recently that Melissa Walker is now sadly incarcerated at Her Majesty's Pleasure and is therefore unavailable. Many on the Forum will know that I was/am a big fan of Laura Hermansen's and have many of her movies. On antoher note people quit for a variety of reasons and some ex girls whom I am still friends with miss the life of socialising, travelling, sex, parties and the like but als like anyhting else just move on with their lives.

A couple of girls wanted to do the occasional scene or two but once it was seen they did one the pressure would be on to work for others so knocked it back on the head.

Then there are those who dont like what htey think is expected of them these days and how cold and business like it has become.

I dont think it is always the case that girls quit the business because the work dries up as i have known several girls who have quit when they have been at the top when they could have continued and made a lot more money, girls quit the Biz for various resons sometimes its boyfriends or they just want to settle down and start a family, but no doubt with a big enough inducement you could get some girls out of retirement but i agree with OEJ we should be encouraging new girls into the biz and savour the past with fond memories !love!

I dont know if she is really back as in just doing the occasional bit here and there. I dont think she is available to all and sundry and the only thing I know of her is on a site that dares not mention its name on here.

The pay nowdays is not as good as it was 5-8 years ago when producers could pay & earn more money from e.g. VHS, the old days are gone & with the market flooded with lots more stars & film makers people can't remember the new ones unless they are oustanding. I would hate to start new in todays adult industry because the girls are pushed to the limit to be noticed, from 18-25yrs you are in demand & if you haven't made a name for yourself by then your on the scrap heap until you reach 40+.
What could you offer a retired star to make it worth her while? most have done it & bought the t-shirt & are legends and to to upstaged by someone half your age or work for a producer who isn't as experienced as your old one is not good (pride when your older is sometimes better than money).
A lot of the older girls i know are either married to someone in the industry, settled down with a family or if they have any grey matter produce their own stuff, this way they do keep a finger in the pie & return when it suits them.
While retired you are in big demand but as soon as you make that movie everyones after your just another adult star again.
