Fiesta 70`s & early 80`s

I have some copies of Fiesta and other mags from the late 70`s & early 80`s.
I picked them up years ago from my parents front garden after my mother had discovered my dads porn stash and hurled it out of the bedroom window during the night. The early bird catches the worm!

The ads are all for 8mm porn loops. Hardcore I would imagine as it was pre VRA 1984. A historical education. Also it seems that the girls ring-pieces are airbrushed out in the photo sets.

Will they be worth anything to collectors?

They'd be a useful source of information to this site - the adverts for the loops that is and maybe the pictures of the girls.

I havent got a scanner Alec. I could do photocopies or just trawl through for items of interest and post descriptions. There were various ads for DS films featuring M. Millington in an ancient copy of whitehouse and stuff featuring names like Annette Haven, Marylin Chambers & J. Holmes. Also a very youthfull looking Ben Dover in a Rod Stewart spoof. A life in porn has certainly taken its toll on Bens youthfull looks.

Any titles that would expand the Mary Millington list would be a help, thanks - in fact any titles of loops that we don't know about would help as some of the web sites which sell them like Blue Vanities just list the titles; so it would give an indication of which ones to look out for.

It might also be worth comparing any girls who feature either in the ads or the photo sets with the unknowns on the site.

I think they could well be of interest to collectors, to answer your other point and I wouldn't want to stand in the way of you gaining a few quid from them. Don't know of any dealers off hand though, but there's a book collectors magazine you can get in Smiths which sometimes has ads for this sort of thing - buying and selling - buried among all the second-hand book stuff.

Thanks. There are three or four ads for vintage glamour mags - sales and wanted - in Book Collector 212, November 2001. I presume there's a more recent issue out now. ONe gives a web address (which I haven't tried yet) -

As someone who works for the company that prints the mag, I'm sure we'd like to know what you've got, just in case there are any holes in our own collection (pun intended).

Can you email me a list of what you've got, Magoo? I'll have a look and see if we're missing any particular issues and then we'd buy 'em from you.

OK will do. Give me a few days though as they are at my old address but I should be able to nip round and get them during the week. I used to have a lot more at one time but foolishly binned them.

No problems. I've got a couple of mags to do in the meantime, anyway ;)
