Any idea why Ben Dover changed his name to Charlie Britton?

I watched an episode of his show on TVX yesterday, here was his intro before shagging Babestation Babe Kiesha Kane:

But why change the name of an established, well known and recognised ?brand? when the actual product is no different to what it is was in the past? The character and style of his production last night was no different to what it was before.

So I will change the question to: ?Why did Ben Dover choose to create a new character and a new name??

I see where you're coming from though .. 'If it aint broke don't fix it'. Maybe this is a new line. The Ben Dover format will continue but this is a new format with a new character ? I don't know his stuff well enough to be able to say if it delivers on 'newness' but that's the idea, but I don't think he's retired Ben Dover.

It was broke - Ben Dover wasn't selling - that's why Lindsay stopped doing them so much.

What you are talking about is a show called Charlie Britton Exposed. It is a spin-off from a previous show called St Teenycums in which Ben Dover played a set of twins (one male one female!!) called Miss Britton who is the head teacher of a slutty all-girl academy and her evil twin brother Charlie Britton the pornographer. The female twin character also appears in St Teenycums: Nymphic Games (kind of based around the olympics and a school sports day) which aired over the summer and now Charlie Britton Exposed which is the spin off featuring only the male twin and his private porno life.
