I think everyone is growing impatient of bluebird dragging us along. I can?t see why a company that openly admits that it has money to throw around like nobodies business can?t get a site running in the time they have had. Every new site that has launched or is in the process of launching has supplied the punters with info and free content but bluebird won?t even be strait with us. I?m goner ask at least let us now if its goner be up in time for Christmas as for the past 3 to 4 months its supposedly been a few weeks to ready.

You're quite right and we do feel some explanation is in order.
In June, BB USA took over the web side of the business. They wanted to do a complete redesign for the US market and said fine. But then they also got pushed in another direction because of the production and distribution deals for TV and DVD that we've signed worldwide.
At BB UK we have actually now seen the test site and it's getting populated with the 104 Movies now ready to go. There's another 200 in the shot library, being edited.
The good news is that you won't be limited to web viewing. If you are in the US or Europe, or have a subscription to Juicy TV in the UK, then you'll be able to see the full BB library over the course of 09, together with the 1,200 or so new scenes each year.
In the UK, you'll also be able to buy BB DVD's.
And our US sister company tells us the Generation 2 site will be up for the AVN's.
And yes, it's now confirmed that the new site will have a membership element and a PPV element.
Hope this provides a realistic insight into the state of progress. Thanks for your continued interest.

The AVN awards is 10th Jan 2009. So it probably wont be live until the 10th Jan. It wouldnt be a great idea to launch a new site in a week or so as its too close to christmas/newyear as getting hold of support people if launch problems arise will be a pain in the ass.
