Hi there.
The current site is just a promo site and only has a tiny sample of all the girls shot: American, European and British.
We'll be releasing around 12 film titles a month from our Library on the website, so you can see the massive amount of scenes that represents.
None of the US girls you've mentioned have shot for BBUK, but they may well have done for BBUSA.
Mind you, now that you've mentioned it, we'll bear these pairings in mind for our '09 shoot year [although no chance now with retired Renee or Keira !]
I'm sure that none of the US girls have worked for BB with any of the English girls mentioned.
We're looking at launching the full membership site in March 09.
In the meantime, our first 28 DVD releases, including Blu-Ray, will be in the stores starting on 26 January 2009 (US, Australia, Canada, Brazil and Germany only for the moment: UK later in the year).

I know there has been, shall we say, significant opinion forwarded over whether Bluebird have/have not lived up to what they have been touting or what has been rumoured of them. I have no desire to further such debate.
I do, however, want to pick up on hiwatt's point re blu-ray DVDs coming to the UK market later in the year. I have no particularly positive or negative disposition towards BB, but I would be very interested in handing them some of my (no so) hard-earned if they were to lead the way in this area. (I also hear Pumpkin Media have some blu-ray titles ready for the US market?)
I have previously posted re the lack of blu-ray titles in UK sex shops (I do know you can get order them from non-UK internet suppliers). I have only seen 2 shops in UK offering blu-rays (both non-R18) - both were on Walkers Court, Soho. One was offering dodgy looking "originals" for ?40 each, the other selling seemingly genuine ones for ?60 a go. I have no interest in the former and the ?60 asking price was far too steep for my (and probably most other potential customers') liking.
I acknowledge the point the learned OEJ made in another post about critical mass influencing choice of format and/or medium. I also presume that the US market has far higher adoption of blu-ray players to date, thus explaining the activity there.
However, how long do people (either those in the industry or general punters) think it will be before we see blu-ray titles becoming more widely available in the UK market? I love boobs, but I think I'd luv high-def boobs even more....

Ding dong,
Thanks for the reply, and for bringing some "front-line" perspective.
I appreciate that blu-ray represents higher cost, coupled with (currently) a far more limited market, so can see the economics behind the present position. However, I am interested in your take on punter apathy; "normal" retailers in the UK appear to be falling over themselves to clear space in their stores for blu-ray so I can only presume that either punters are demanding this or retailers expect them to be soon enough.
Whilst there are certainly differences in consumption in the mainstream and the porn markets, surely enough people shun poorly shot gonzo, filmed on a shitty handheld camera in someone's dingy spare room to suggest a slice of the market aren't interested in production values. Think of the success of Pirates, for example. I for one want to see the likes of our very own Alicia and Cathy, and as well as overseas beauties such as Sienna (West), in 1080p glory, wherever possible. I don't believe (or don't want to believe?) that others out there don't want the same. Am I just being naive? Is standard DVD quality enough for most people?
