what does a porn film distributer expect to be handed over when they buy the distribution rights to a porn film??just the original 60 min mini dv tape???
how much would the rights to one hours worth of tape of hardcore girl/girl be worth??

Hi, rights sales should be negotiated before you hand over anything, as for fees, I expect they vary wildly, but you might be surprised how little you might be offered!

You need to shoot on mini DV and make sure the camera is at least 3CCD or the quality won't be good enough.
Then you need to work out what style and market you're going to target. You then approach a few companies to see what they are looking for at the moment.
You then shoot your movie to whatever brief you've been given. Don't forget to shoot a cover and production stills at the same time (you won't sell it without)
You then edit the movie adding titles and credits.
Design a cover and print one on your PC. Then make a time coded VHS copy and together with your cover offer it to whoever you spoke to in the first place,
If you can do all this you will stand a much better chance of being sucessful!
