With recent film releases in cinemas and some documentaries being shown on the tv in 3D, it struck me that I have never seen a porn film in 3D.

Has one ever been made, if not could this be the future or would it be too expensive?

I appreciate you have got to lie on the sofa with a pair of goggles on, but think about the viewing experience and angles, it could be a whole new viewing experience!!

It obviously hasn't been done for a reason.........but what is it?

I like the idea of 4D where you get sprayed out of the screen in every cum shot! lol

There was an Electric Blue series VHS video in the 80s that tried it. I've still got it somewhere, complete with red and blue cardboard glasses...complete crap !laugh!

Well, I guess virtual reality porn ... full body suit and headset will come in future decades. But the full kit won't be cheap or clean for long.

Conjures up all kinds of bizarre images ie the thought of people furiously wanking while watching a film, all wearing silly specs! !happy!

No doubt someone as big as Wicked, Vivid or Digital Playground might attempt it but not in this financial climate.

Mind you its do-able if they get two high res images. I beleive thats how the Real 3D effect is achieved and that is the best 3D Ive seen and In Tru 3D process with Monsters VS Aliens.

Did anyone see the way they made the camera move independently of the action as if documentary style with the action. Truly great stuff. Good film too.

Shame I missed that one on the big screen...Oh we were talking about porn....Hmm i think it would be wasted personally. It would be hard moving a mouse around, wanking and wearing those specs. I'd be somewhat, conscious of myself.

Maybe you can provide some info on this Richard being an electronics boffin, but an engineer told me sometime ago, that a psuedo 3d system for PC had been developed but it only worked when used with a cathode ray monitor, which of course are nearly all out of use now. Something to do with the way the different type of monitors scan.

I haven't heard about it, but I suppose it would be easier to to with a CRT monitor using interlaced scan because you could project each half of the stereoscopic view on each odd and even scan and then sync that with a pair of active shutter glasses. Not sure if you could do that with an LCD display...
