i just tried out the so called 10p a minute internet aacess as advertised in the dailysport only to find out once i'd down loaded the software needed and logged on i was being charged in excess of ?1 a minute.
has any1 else had this problem?

A min, I think bt's normal call charge per min is less than that
So where do they get the "free" bit from.

come on how do you think ds made ?600 million ,by giving you anything free,i think not.i read once ,on a site about the back to the floor programme he did,that he had only been in the sport office once in 12 years. maybe he was counting his money.you gotta respect the guy but how the hell does he get away with it.

Easy: there are always people who think they can get something for nothing. With him, what you get is nothing for a very big something.....

If you log onto say Big Brother site using the Software mentioned or whatever To actually see anything it asks you to download software to be able to view this site ....all very well and good except except that as Solid Snake has just found out it does Cost around about ?1.50 a minute a few pence cheaper mind but thats what happens. however on some of the other sites is does say free ..... you log on ok no warnings no messages etc then you get phone bill... you just realised that some of the sites you browsed you hit an instant dialler (what i was told) as the site loads what you dont see or know about is the dialler working behind the pages ??????? DS got lot to answer for.

No comment. Its all been said hundreds of times before. I loved Uncle Bens post about how the young DS started out selling old copies of Horse and Hounds advertised with the line "see women with horses". Amazing. I could fill a whole page listing the various ploys hes used in his video mailshots. Caveat Emptor as they say in the legal proffession.

In the few times I've been on to the overpriced part of the site, the pages were very slow to download, eve slower than what this site is at present. Unfortunately I can't access such sites anymore as I use a cable modem.
