Yes its faster than its been for a while.

But how long will it last before returning to being slow?

Err ... nothing! I did get some changes made last week - which made absolutely no difference! (it is possible it took a few days for them to have an effect I suppose). It does seem to have been generally ok this week (so far) though I'm aware it does still vary from time to time.

We are getting a lot of visitors to the site nowadays though - unfortunately the kind of hosting fees needed to support everyone who wants to access and give everyone a speedy response are a bit out of our league just at the moment.
