Just had my BluRay player delivered.

On Blissbox they have loads of Yank Porn on Bluray for ?40 a go.

Any British Bluray stuff out there?

I've investigated this before, and haven't came up with much at all. There was musings of Bluebird releasing blu-ray stuff here, but I think that's been canned. (It's in another post on here somewhere).

A few shops in Soho offer blu-ray, but only a couple of titles (inc at least one Harmony title).

I seem to recall Blissbox offering some blu-rays at ?21.99 last year - seems that price is no longer available. I certainly wouldn't part with ?40 for one film.

I have got a few blu-rays and they are awesome. Crystal clear, really good production values etc - just my thing. Of course, there's quite a bit of HD content available on-line, too. Brazzers and Zero Tolerance seem to be setting the standard there, but production values are high on Killergram etc (albeit may not be HD as such).

Please let me know if you do find anything out there!

Blu-ray will die if that huge differential doesn't soon vanish.

As it is, I recently settled for a Bravia rather than a plasma;
the extra hundreds of quid weren't worth the improvement in
pic-quality that the plasma is supposed to give [how much exactly?
1%? 5?].
HDMI quality on the B. seems excellent, to my aged eyes.

I think porn is too disposable to be on such a collectors format like Blu Ray

I'd be just as happy with regular dvd

Thing is I beleive a majority of porn fans would also and wouldnt see anyhting profitable about Blu Ray except for the extortionate price tag that comes with it

Dont get me wrong I know the merits of the format. Just think its wasted on porn.

Seriously apart from the picture quality who is going to utilise its 7:1 sound when most people keep the volume down or off

3D porn will be a novelty too and we can look forward to that format being wasted on porn when people get over the "tiiiiiiitttsss comin' atchaaa"

I think you're right Jack. I have spent most of the past decade re-buying my favourite porn stuff on DVD and I don't honestly feel like doing the same again for Blu Ray. As you hint, there is very little porn that would benefit from the merits of the new format, which to be honest works best on recent movies made with the latest technology.
