Why does everyone go on about how great the american porn scene is. We are just back from AVN show and awards and I still prefer the now improved UK porn scene. We are lucky believe me the UK talent is great, the UK girls are nicer and more approachable for the fans. The awards show was as always great with a top class show, shame this supposed black tie affair was full of nerds who couldn't make the effort to have a wash never mind change their shirts.. The girls were as always looking fab e-mail me for Violets outfit picture,,,,she was the Bell of the Ball...and held up my "British is Best" claims. Saw Layla for about 30 seconds she is looking good and again stood out amoung the US girls. They all seem to be set on blowing their tits up to space-hopper size...?????. Does anyone like this.

Good things about UK porn.

Natural looking girls, fewer boob jobs, no hideous tan lines.

Bad things.

Poor value (our local shop wants ?40 for a McCavity) , films usually shorter than US/Euro, cheap productions and sets, cheap looking packaging on the shelves, too many tattoos and piercings YUK!!

It is very rare for me to enjoy or buy a US porno film, but the pics of violet out there were a nice sight in the dark nights of a british winter.

Haven't had time to sort out the names but the covers are nearly done so I will post them and you can look for yourselves. I am planning a movie of Fuck Truck (bigger budget etc) to be shot at Easter and we are planning a new movie with Violet. I agree with the guys who feel we need to shoot some movies but the truth is I can't get the amatuer stuff out quick enough right now. Violet new look is sensational and I had to fight of the American directors with their offers(which I am pretty good at).

Her new website is almost finished and Maxim have done a blinding job on it we are all real pleased. My stuff goes into the Sport and all Goldstar mags real soon so at least you will know with McC name on the add you will get the real McCoy.
I was told in Vegas Ben may be thing of retiring he wasn't there but his titles were up for awards...I bet the pirates will be crapping themself if he does retire what will they sell...Seriously guys talk him out of it there is a few years left in him yet.

Just got back from Vegas myself after Internext, AVN Expo and the Award show.
I don't know how you can say the Yank girls don't make time for their fans, Phil. I was at the expo every day except Friday, and everyone there was signing autographs. The Sin City girls stood there all day with one half hour break meeting fans and chatting. Even Ron Jeremy signed for a couple of days. Okay, so the product can be dull and over-acted, but compare the AVN Expo to Erotica.
Nice to see Buttman pick up the best gonzo title, despite Ben being in contention. Also good to see Christoph Clark and Rocco pick up awards. I think Evil Empire got 14 or so that night. Did you see the guy waving the gun around at the aftershow party? Apparently, security weren't impressed!

Yes I agree they were there signing but they don't seem to be very friendly. They dont chat or have much hummor.. Remmeber with me and I know most of them they do,,But my reference was the way they act towards Mr ordinary who buy's the videos after all.
The awards show was poor and bloody cold did you watch the amount of people leave just for a heat. They had the air-con going full blast. Compair it to The Venus (Berlin) with some really good act's on stage (Boney M and loads more). I would even argue Erotica was beter value for the consumer. We did loads of business coz right now we are hot but I have spoke to a few others who have said it woz poor.
AVN invite me every year and I than them for this, They also give me tickets for the show again I am glad of. Our table was a restricted Press table but it had a plumber on it still wareing his work jeans. Where is the class,,answer there is very little.
Some of the big companies are releasing videos and from their own records sell 3-5000 units of them it looks very poor to me.
I hope it went well for you. I am sure they will work to improve it all for next year because they listem.
As for the awards take regular space in AVN and improve your chances. (common knowlege).
