A Scary Read

If you want to read something that is quite scary in the sense that it demonstrates that, out there, are people whose thought processes make the Flat Earthers look quite sane, go to the following site:
http://www.spectator.co.uk
Go to Back Issues, and bring up 8 Dedember 2001. Two articles, one by Tania Kindersley, the other by Rachel Jones (a nom de plume) give a very worrying insight into how some people see pornography.
Then go to 15 December 2001 and read the letters.
Then go to 29 December 2001 for more letters.
Finally, go to 19 January 2002 for an article by Dr. Robert Baker, entitled the Wages of Sex.
Basically, someone has suggested that the rising incidence of prostate cancer is attributable to pornography and self abuse (wanking!!!) and is a consequence of easier access to por. via the internet.
At least Dr. Baker attempts to throw a little more sane light onto the subject.
It does make for an interesting read, and it is also quite worrying when you think that some of these people actually have a vote.
