Hey,

I've noticed that Bluebird are changing their Bluebirdfilms site tomorrow to their "new" sites, and all accounts will migrate across.

What exactly will this give us, is it simply another web design, or are you changing the way the sites work completely?

Also, what happens to anything I've already got in my library, and will I be able to get new material from day one, or are you changing how it all works too?

I've not seen much advertised about these new sites, so you've completely caught me unaware of these changes....

Hi
Site updates won't be going live tonight, but later this month.
All existing memberships and content library access will migrate across to the new sites.
The new system integrates all BB sites and TV services in a single department store site.

thanks for replying hiwatt,

do you mind me asking why it's not going live tonight? the popup menu has been advertising this for days now, have you got a new date when it will be ready?

I notice you said something about it becoming a department store site, what does this mean? is it going PPV or something?

not being funny, but I've read a LOT of criticism of Bluebird on this forum over the past year or so, and this is probably a shining example of their inability to update their customers (paying customers I add...) about what changes they are doing to their sites/systems

1) why does the popup box STILL appear even though you've apparently moved the planned work? it's surely not hard to move it or edit the text with a clear idea of what's going on?

2) what exactly is happening, how will the user experience change for the customers you've got who have paid for access to your sites? I don't understand how you're changing it because you've never told anyone what you're planning to move to

hiwatt, it would be really useful to tell us what's happening - hell, a little self-promotion of what WILL (not rumours, what actually WILL occur) might get you some new customers..... surely new business is something you guys actually WANT right?

Sorry if what we posted wasn't clear.
When the new site arrangement goes up you'll be able to get access to all BB sites and Tv services from this new central site.
Access to BBFilms.com stays as is for existing members.
Glambirds stays as PPV.

We are awaiting firm launch date from the developers. Everything except real time payment uplink for the Tv services is in place.

Any other questions well be happy to answer
