Jaded vs Excalibur part 14356

All 10 Jaded VHS ordered arrived this morn: 5x 2, Global Priority, untampered-with by HM Cutthroats, SIX days start to finish.
1 from Excalibur, ordered 12th Dec, despatched 29th Dec (after Godnose how many e-mails): still waiting.......
10:45: Another order placed with J today.
10:46: Excalibur deleted from my Favourites (B Gates please note emended spelling].

Aren't they great?! Despite me being so impressed with Jaded, an order is still on it's way from Excalibur, and when I ordered it, they sent me a password for their website.

I'm a little concerned that after a month or something, they'll start charging me for access to their site. You know the score, you get free membership which is actually a smokescreen for "let us rip you off without telling you properly". However, ths site is actually quite good. Does anyone know how long this free membership thing lasts before they start billing to your card?

Should I cancel now just to be on the safe side?

I buy regularly from Excalibur, and have done for about a year, no complaints, not the fastest, but reliable, use their free membership facilities all the time, and have not been charged at all. Seems all you need to do is keep buying. Bear in mind that if the product is out of stock it's then out of their hands as to how long it takes for the suppliers to cum upwith the goods.I find them very good responding to e-mails.

I lied about the deletion.
Ordering is a good way of getting the full pic service (Private's site is similar). I too had wondered whether my contretemps with them would affect my 'viewing rights' but in the end their (lack of) service quality is more important. Pics can be sourced via other retailers in iafd (Jaded show their boxcovers without this malarkey, another plus point).

They RESPONDED to my mails promptly. They just didn't address the issues therein.
I would also argue that if they start charging my card for access without first informing me of their intention to do so, they are in breach of UK law.

Been waiting a month now for stuff from Excalibur which was all supposed to ship in 7 days according to their site. My order page stated "to be shipped today" for weeks now it just says "to be shipped". Yeah but when? Next fucking year?

Fivestar billed my credit card and then mailed confirmation of shipment. Nothing arrived. Mailed them. Response-"oops, that was a mistake. Item out of print". Waiting for refund.

The problem is the websites are not accurate as to if somethings in stock.

Think I will try Jaded next. They might be a bit better.

The other thing to consider about Excalibur is they also stock
general vids.(their priorities are obviously clouded to say the least)

If Jaded gave the same level of service Excalibur is giving it would go out of business.



I thought they charged the membership after one month and then when you made your first purchase the original charge was reversed.
