Hi Guys, Am I thick or what ??!! Just what is POV DVD. Its not a BBC comments Video, with Mr Jeremy Vine.....

POV is short for "Point Of View". It's very similar (almost identical) to "Gonzo".

This is my definition of POV and Gonzo though others may differ.
Gonzo is where the "Male Performer" is also the cameraman performing with the female.
POV is where there are seperate male performer and camera operator but the camera person gets "Up close and personal" to the action, usually/often shooting over the male performers shoulder to catch the action as he (male performer) would see it.

I hope that's explained my version of it clearly?

I did contact Sarah a couple of times regarding the possibility of a shoot but had no response !sad! Cest la vie.

Pure POV is simply the action seen from the participant's point of view, and assumed to be by the guy himself. The idea being that it is actually the viewer's shaft doing the business. The advent of tiny high def cameras has made this much easier to achieve. To prevent visual boredom the POV may extends to shots from an extended arm to get wider shots or close-ups of penetration.

Some POV may be shot by another cameraman, evidenced by both the stud's hands are clearly seen in shot.

Gonzo is where the production team are featured in the scene. All the Ben Dover series were gonzo, where Ben introduced the cast before shagging them. Terry Stephens is a master. A huge proportion of worldwide material produced these days is Gonzo: pick-ups, castings (generally false) and pov, of course would have to be a variant of gonzo.

Paul's Spunksluts isn't really pov, as much of it is shot by his lovely assistant. Regrettably it's also not very well filmed and often boring.

Each to their own Bayleaf on what you think is good and what is not. We all like different things in the wonderful world of porn.

However the Paul's spunksluts thing was well before I started working with Paul. That was truly be on his own yet not pure POV as he always used a POV cam but still used several static tripod cameras too.

I came in towards his next venture spunkslut casting calls. I am now working for him full time on nerdpervert.com on his US deal.

This is a nerd based reality show that contains no POV at all, which I film all of it and is very character driven with story that includes porn with higher budgets etc..

So to some who don't like story and just want to get to the wham bam this could be considered boring too to some hehe

However its doing serious numbers over in the US and is the most popular thing he's ever done to date, so more of the same from us with the new show as its shot for the fans and not the none fans if you know what I mean.
