Does anyone know a good free news group service, without all the withheld name crap?

I am also interested in this and was hoping somebody with in depth knowledge would reply.
I don't think my ISP has a news server and my previous one did not have the alt.binaries.
FAQ 1.8 provides some guidlines but the free new server mentioned does not work for me.
Doing a search on Google for "Open News Server" came up with several links including
The server 64.154.60.75 works for me but you cannot post.
Probably have to pay for a quality service - presumably your business philosophy.
Hope we get some other posts on this suject.
