Vidshop seem like a con

Has anybody else had problems with Vidshop. After placing an order over 3 weeks ago there's no sign of anything, not even an email from them. They've taken my money though. Far as I can see, they're pretty useless. Don't use them.

Kick their arses with an e-mail to bgafd@vidshop.com.
This addy was the result of a welter of complaints about poor/
non-existent service. They advertise titles as 'in stock' and then back-order them, in the knowledge that since mail-order porn is illegal here, the punter hasn't a chance.
You will get your stuff eventually (as the credit card company can do them for the dosh), but you have to be persistent. One mail per week usually does the trick after a month or two.
I hope they get a lot of business in Europe, coz they're losing it hand over fist here in Blighty.

Last time I used them I had to use the complaint e-mail addy to get the goods that I had paid for !!.
I shall now only use www.yourchoice.co.uk (or a reputable supplier) to get my porn !!!!

The only reason I used them was cos they were the only people who could get the vid I wanted. But it was out of stock. It came 2 months late after the E-mail address supplied by this site.To their credit it was an original with box.But the service is not acceptable.I will not use them again!

Contact your credit card company for a refund.
If they get enough hassle from a particular outfit, they can withdraw card-processing facilities from them.

I've just come across this forum for the first time and I'm grateful for some of the comments I've seen about vidshop because I now know not to persevere with them. I've also discovered that there are quite a lot of alternative suppliers which I didn't know about. The one I do know is yourchoice. I have used them for years, even before the internet days and have always found them 100% reliable.

With vidshop, of two DVDs I ordered about a year ago, one was delivered within the specified time and the other never arrived. At the time I blamed the post.

In November last year I started ordering from them again. Of the three I ordered, all took more than a month to come, and I had to email their non-delivery service (why have one if it's not usually a problem?). I did eventually get all my DVDs but two of them were posted from Holland when they specifically promise UK despatch. I am very careful about what I order from overseas and this really annoyed me.

I will not be using them again, which is a real shame as they have an excellent website and a very extensive range of stuff.

Well, they DON'T actually have an extensive range. They just claim to: as the orders come in, they back-order the required titles, meaning you have months to wait while the stuff is sent from the supliers.
The 'In Stock' claim on many titles is borderline fraudulent, but I doubt there's anything one can do about it.
