Due to my complete hatred of all things war, I have not been keeping up to date with all matters warlike, but tonight on sky-news, they showed a old Iraq,ee farmer, brandashing a "Blunderbuss" type gun, he,d just shot down an American apachee helicopter, I bet he drinks carling.....or some brand of tea I cant get hold of!!!

No tea in Iraq: that was definitely on the list of Smart Sanctions.
The US are now dropping millions of tea-bags with exhortatory slogans printed on them, like 'Drink Grandma Smith's Finest Texas Brand Hickory-Smoked Tea', and 'Shop at Joe's Drinking-Leaf Emporium, the Finest Tea-Shoppe this side of the Adirondacks'....and 'Surrender Now, or We Won't Give You Any Cha'.

Incidentally, there are 8 screen of dedicated war to choose from on sky! just in case u missed out, how sad is that!nothing dedicated to how crap the NHS is,or how the road network is like one car park, or what breakthrough,s there are in cancer research, just an endless loop of s h i t e.....

Amazingly enough Sky News has shown a much more balanced and non-biased slant in their coverage compared to the BBC (blairs broadcast company). I know its amazing considering Sky is owned by Murdoch but to be honest Sky News has always been non-political and had complete editorial integrity unlike Murdochs other vile organs such as the Sun and New York Post and Fox News whose coverage has been despicable in its one-sidedness. Four pages in the NYP about some US soldiers being shot but no mention of the tragic checkpoint incident where those children were turned into mincemeat by US automatic fire. That would not have happened if it was a British Army checkpoint.

You will notice throughout this conflict that the British Army are far more well trained than those US cowboys. And a friend of mine who is out there agrees that the yanks are the ones who go beserk and kill civillians and allied troops. Our army has decades of experience at running checkpoints and policing urban areas in a non-combative(exceptions like Bloody Sunday excepted) way in Ireland. The US have no such experience. They have only fought in urban areas twice since WW2 and both were disasterous failures resulting in many US casualties. If the USA had been ivolved in Basra instead of the Brits you can guarentee civilian casualties would be trebled or worse. Look at the atrocities committed in Vietnam such as killing of children and gang rapes of teenage girls by USA soldiers.

Sorry to go all serious. Ive got it out of my system now. Our armed forces are the best in the world. But sadly they have to play second fiddle to a bunch of cowboys.

Feel free to call me anti american if you wish but having spoken to British soldiers I can assure you they have very little confidence in the americans ability despite what the top-brass say on tv.
