I've just been checking that fan site for Mr al-Sahaf, and he seems to mention shoes an awful lot, which leads me to the conclusion that he's a foot-fetishist. A role awaits him as Sarah Ferguson's next husband.

BTW, with your obvious talent for sadism, have you ever considered a career in the Inquisition? Competitive remuneration, all the martyrs you can burn, and your own monogrammed set of branding-irons after 5 years' service...........
