I know dialers have been brought up before, and i have searched for info on how to remove them, but what im wondering is, if the program doesnt show up on the add/remove programs list how would i go about removing it?

Im reluctant to start messing with the registrys.

I always find they lodge themselves in these places

desktop
startup/taskbar menu-usually twice
control panel-under program files,download files,downloads or dialers

I've never had to search under 'ie content' to remove one which was suggested a while back

Don't download them in the first place is your best bet, or don't allow them to be downloaded.

And to stop dialers jumping on board their computer
