I have heard a couple of 'good' reports about them but I have heard a hell of a lot more 'bad' reports about them. ie- not delivering orders/general ripping people off. how true any of this is i do not know. so what i am asking is that the well informed people of this forum shed some light on the quality of their services.

Due to bad reports from my esteemed chums on this forum I have never used them. Try a search and make your own mind up. I would recommend Your Choice, They are a bit pricey but at least you know they will deliver. Also you can phone them if you have a problem and in my experience they are very nice and friendly. Although they did once argue over refunding postage on a crap tape which I had to return to them in Amsterdam. Also they employ some agents in UK who cant be bothered to put sleeves on tapes. Oh, dont get me off on that subject, bloody disgrace, I tell you....Two years in the army would sort them out. Never happened in my day etc, etc,....

All my stuff got delivered: eventually, after 3000 e-mails.
THEN, the other day I had to use them again as they were the only known source in the Universe for a couple of tapes: these they delivered inside 10 days, just like normal companies do !!!
Funny old world, innit?

VIP presumably stands for Very Irrate Punter. JJ is marked down as a persistent complainer by most companys so he always gets a result. They send him videos that he hasnt payed for just to get him off their backs. Nice one JJ. I think I might try that but being British I will probably ruin it by being too polite. Like this "Dear Porn Co. who banked my cheque and never sent me my film. I`m terribley sorry to bother you. I`m sure you are very busy. Oh, never mind you just keep my money. I`m terribley sorry to have bothered you. Heres another ?20 for your trouble" Doffs cap, bows and scrapes.

Thanks to this forum the companys are starting to treat us customers with respect cos they dont want bad press. Not like the old days (pre forum) when they could rip off punters without fear of losing other customers.

Would not touch them with a barge pole.
Ordered 2 films off them last year and got nowhere until I used the special BGAFD addy.

Then got the 2 films, but one was the wrong title
Didn`t complain though because it was better than the one I had ordered !!

Stick with Your Choice - last week I ordered Ben Dovers Royal Reamers and it was delivered in 7 days !!!

if you order tapes off vidshop they will usually arrive within a couple of weeks. DVD's are a little different presumably coz theyre originals.
So if they've got a tape you're after and nowhere else stocks it, i'd say go for it. Just don't ever bother with DVD's.

Thanks for painting me as a professional Moaning Minnie, guys (wasn't she the gal who used to do odd things with a herring?), but I've let a couple of companies off VERY lightly after only a couple of mails. After a while you develop a radar which tells you when to stop banging your head against a brick wall. AdultTopMovies for one, Tess Scott's own site for another. [For full, profusely-illustrated 32-page list, please apply above].
With that one-off Vidshop order, it was a mental aberration triggered by the thought of getting my hands on a couple of Michelle Wright's Canamax tapes (or a couple of Ms Wright's ANYTHINGS.......).
And God, they were worth it. [Sigh].
But Vidshop on a regular basis? Not a chance.
