Some thoughts:
(1) TV on a Sat is trash (Sundays junk too - but not as bad). Nothing at all worth watching all day. It used to be good, but now tripe.
(2) Why when BBC is sooooo bad do we have to pay for a tv licence? I do not want to give my hard cash to some no talent TV presenter, when I never watch the tripe the beeb puts out. I bed all the cast on East Enders must piss themselfes each day knowing that they get paid bucketloads of cash for doing sod all. If I choose not to pay, off to jail for me. Yet if I set up my own TV station, its up to me to raise the cash (ie advertising).
(3) Is the longest advertisment on TV at the moment the 'The National Lottery', its on twice a week. I cannot see it anything but an advertisment. Oh and its on the been, the station that claims not to advertise anything.
(4) Why is it that the BBC slaged of CH%, and yet CH5 seems to have films on (tonight mad max 3), and some good shows (The Right Stuff is so funney on a morning), yet what does the beeb bring out? tripe. I wonder how much the small over taned berk gets paid just to say 'cheap as chips' each day?
