Here are two items from the Daily Mirror of Wednesday 30th April 2003, p.16, which I thought might amuse.
1. There has been an amendment to the Sexual Offences bill, currently being debated in the House of Lords. The amendment tabled by Baroness Noakes and Lord Astor of Hever to clause 70 reads: "Page 32, line 1. leave out 'genitals' and insert 'penis'."
2. Embarrassing gaffe on US TV; the influential but prostate-troubled Alan Greenspan, chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, was reported to be in hospital for "an enlarged prostitute".
