Well, I played 9 holes with my gaffer today and he wiped the floor with me, I played like a woman.......no disrespect, but I was driving 150 yds instead of 200, 4 putting instead of 2, and lost 4 balls. Women golfers? Know your place!!

Annika is playing as a sponsors invite, a one-off experience.
The rules of the US PGA Tour don't mention gender so she is perfectly legal in entering an event.
However she will have to abide by their dress code, no shorts unless temperature is over 104 and shirts must be tucked in!!

Never mind Annika look out for Nathalie Gulbis, Laura Diaz and Paula Marti, all stunners.

I hear Phil Mickelson is looking at getting onto the womens tour but only for the Majors

I bet that he'd still choke when it counts

PS Your right Ace about the distance....but in golf as we all know its your short game that really counts which doesn't require strength

Who the f**k cares, if there were no women in this world we would not be contributing to this site, so if she does well in that tournament then all the better for that sport.

Quite a few people judging by the media circus surrounding this event
and rightly so.First women in 60 years to get an invite to play there

If there were no men in the world women would exist unless theres another way of producing Sperm

, so if she does well in

I agree this will give the sport a higher profile and attract extra crowds
The age old battle man v woman
Either way golf will be the winner

Personally I think this will be a one off

Maybe in the future mixed doubles like in tennis could be introduced
