Can well informed readers tell me if it is possible to make money producing and then distributing porn on the net? What sells best and is it a myth that nobody makes any money at it these days?

the only to really make any money is to find yourself a niche market and stick to it....even then it's no walk in the park.

Lesbians with big tits is all over the place.....whatever your little kink is focus on that.....

Mine is HJ/BJ so i do that, make it real and your members are happy.

Niche porn is the only way to go .... Main stream porn is now over saturated on the web....

The answer to you question coming from a modelling/producer point of view is yes there is money out there to be made and quite rightly as the others have said...pick PICK YOUR thing and do it!

We started off just modelling, seperately, together and with others and and charged a modest fee but beware some models will try to demand too much and will clock watch!

We still work with some very well known people in the Porn industry in the UK and suggest you really do need to do some research...

To make a R18 video is initially very expensive so you do need to be selling volumes to get back your investment!

Thanks for your words of wisdom. They will probably be big bust all lesbian hardcore, usually with a theme, sold as VHS (to begin with) via an internet shop (in the works). I don't relish producing in the UK so we'll do them in Holland probably. I've come across a few models who are a bit too interested in the money side of it, I'd only pay by the scene. Not to sure about making money from videos, but we have had a short documentary on German TV about a Dutch photographer called Peter Van De (longname not to sure of spelling) who lives in Germany. All his work is for the Japanese market and in the photoshoot he was using two big Mamyia cameras one for Black and White one for colour. and a nikon digital Now the shoot was a white girl and a black guy on white sheets. In black and white he produces one limited edition print per month which is sold through a gallery and the colour is for a magazine with the digital for their website Now here is the thing , the black and white prints are in limited runs of 25 and sell in Japan for Euro 1500 each that is a lot of income even inf the gallery is taking say 20 % Did not memtion how much he paid his models but I imagine it would be the normal rates of about euro 600
Never mentioned how much he got for his magazine web work ,but he difinatley did not look like someone strugling to pay the rent. May be worth considering
