Personally I find the whole Big Brother concept slightly interesting but in reality the show is mind numbing.

The saddest part about ALL of these reality shows is that they mirror real life which is their biggest attraction

As Buttsie will testify, BB has started in Oz, just a couple of weeks before the UK one did - I know someone on it who lives in Adelaide (Daniel before you ask) and yes it can be a bit boring but life is, isn't it. I find it quite amusing to watch people interact with each other and slowly lose the plot inside a confined environment.

these are shows are not about reality. what we see is chosen by others..

a big chain of people each with an agenda to fill tv time get ratings, make money, get hype


its funny i think butnowi couldnt see the likes of craig (the firsrt BB winner and bo selecta kidnap victim) winning now as he just was a nice/good bloke ( actaully it seemed a great ambassodr for us humansand it seems totally not self obbsessed) they now have to be outregous.

As for BB, I do actually hate it.
And yes I'm fully aware of the strength of the word hate, but then levels of emotion are a personal thing so my hate may not be as extreme as some right wing, facist, red neck, Nazi, one brain cell throwback.

And what the hell was the deal with Celebrity Detox? Did anyone really want to know that Richard Blackwood had his arsehole drained with coffee?
