Sad news Wink Wink , though i cant stand anyone who worked in Apartheid south africa or Johnny Hates Jazz , Mr Most will be missed ,his work with the Animals had a direct effect on Dylan that effected the whole of western music !!!

Having spent many times in the studio with Micky Most in the 70's and socially from then till the odd occasional night in the 90's I actually take offence at your sarcasm with the "wink wink" comment !!

Plus I believe Bob Dylan had already gone electric by the time the Animals covered House of the rising sun.

Micky had no political/racial motivation.
His motivation was money - like any businessman - and anyone who finds fault with that, is out of touch with reality.
"Artists Security" loked after his interests for many yaers and did a damn good job for him, and just about every other "star" of the time.
RIP Mick. You were an OK guy.

The Animals recorded House of the Rising Sun in 15 minutes & it cost Mickie ?1 10s. it sold a quarter of a million copies in three days. How many groups could do that today? Mickie was producer of Herman's Hermits & Donovan.
