Oh yes it has ,apart from Lime street all Liverpool's trains run underground .

My apologies I stand corrected. It was about 15 years ago I was last there and didn't recall it! Also there was never any mention of it on Brookside or Bread!

I cant understand this! City of culture 'Liverpool' they must have been on drugs stuck a pin in a map, and missed Manchester completely!

Erm, it's not quite true that Ray Davies wrote Waterloo Sunset about a place called Waterloo in Liverpool (if there is one - I've only been there once). His first idea for the title was indeed Liverpool Sunset, the song intended as a paen to the passing of Merseybeat.

Then he thought "Sod, it, I'll write about my city!"
