What type of pubs do people prefer? Chain pubs such as JD's or your local, perhaps not as clean but more like home?
To me there is little better than a good night in your local pub!

Support your local!!!!!!!!!
I have two, one is a great pub like 'Cheers' where everyone knows your name without any nosey bastards and it has Sky Sports and thats where I will be tonight.
My other local is the NAAFI bar where a pint costs 90p for Carlsberg (not bad huh?) but the toilets have a river of piss running through it.
Chain pubs are shit...............they just want your money and the lager is cheap as it is short dated.

Unfourtunatley all the pubs (as far as I know) here in Essex are as cliquey as fuck, like in those films when a guy walks into a pub in the middle of nowhere, nothing better for me than a night in with a top porn DVD (or three) and 6 Stella's for a fiver (yes I know I should get out more!)

You can get 8 Stella for ?6 round my way. And they are 500ml cans too. Smuggled of course.

Im not sure if thats cheaper than 6 for ?5.......I am shit at maths.

This is really scary......I have recently drunk in both those establishments.
Anyway: DEATH to Wetherspoons/Puzzle Pub. Co., etc., etc.

Do people in Essex use trains? I thought they all had Escort Cosworths with customised wheels and loud stereos. Or am I stuck in the early nineties when the girls all had perms, white high heels and cornbeef legs?

No, they still look the same. Like the Bigg Market, only tartier.
And I know most of the people who run the trains in E Anglia, so it's a no-go area for me as far as rail travel is concerned............I may be stupid, but I'm not suicidal.
