The Mott, i just love the mott. steve56 were they better with ronson or before? hard to say really,all the young dudes,sweet jane,roll away the stone,all the way to memphis. classics.

1st album was 69 it had a instrumental version of kinks you really got me,david bowie wrote the dudes didnt he?ian hunter went to america in 75?they were never the same after like wen jim morrison left the doors.

they have similar voices,i met harley in 81 he was having trouble with a car had a young girl with him.

he died quite young too i believe,theres a guy from surrey who has his own record labels[10th planet,wooden hill]that released some unreleased material in the 90s by his band the rats.
