Gentlemen, is this a suitable topic for levity? Just cos they were Siamese twins (and, indeed, foreign - gasp!) doesn't make their plight any less tragic. I for one am very sorry the operation didn't work out.

yes i admit its very sad but where do you draw the line,we had the boat people over in 78,idi amins refugees in 72 cant tell me they were all on the housing list,just jumped the que.

Apart from anything else, I fail to see what any of this this has to do with immigration. The unfortunate young ladies both wanted to carve out careers for themselves in their native Iran, not sponge off another country's welfare system.
I imagine the Duke was joking about their wanting to come here, but I'm afraid Steve you missed it (surprise surprise).
